SMUGGLING THINGS INTO JAILS SEEMS TO BE POPULAR THIS WEEK: Not only is Michael Douglas’ son having heroin smuggled in by his girlfriend (while he’s awaiting trail for trafficking in methamphetamines no less!), but one of Bill Clinton’s former aides has been arrested for trying to smuggle knives and tattoo needles onto Arkansas’ death row (51 felony counts!!).

NEWS THAT BLOWS: There’s a rash of people being hit by blow darts in Delaware. Authorities are speculating that it’s either a roving band of aborigines or a teenager who will soon be learning that jail isn’t nearly as fun as it seems on TV.

COULTER ON THE RACIST RACISTS WHO CRY RACISM: Ann ~~eviscerates~~ analyzes “southerner” Kathleen Parker and her claims that southerners who disagree with Obama are only doing so because they are racists.

LAW VS GRACE: It’s no surprise that there are certain places in the world where you can be put arrested just for saying a prayer, but it’s very surprising when one of those places is Florida.

IT’S ALWAYS STUPID TO ROB A BANK, BUT THIS IS TAKING IT TO A NEW LEVEL: Here’s some advice – if you’re going to rob a bank, don’t ask for your account balance first. After all, you’re about to make a withdrawal anyway, so it doesn’t really matter.

WHEN THE WIND BLOWS, SOME BIRDS ARE GONNA DIE: Coal may not be environmentally friendly, but at least it’s not killing 220,000 birds per year. Maybe a canary or two, but that’s it. Plus, those wind farms are also evil because they might block some rich guy’s precious view.

IT WILL STILL MAKE LOUSY PHONE CALLS THOUGH: Cell phones will soon be able to open doors, access subways, clip coupons, mow your lawn, then eventually become self-aware and obliterate all of mankind. (OK, I made up a few of those.)
