AN ARMADILLO HELPS STOP CRIME:  It’s not an actual armadillo, just an old Brinks truck with video cameras nicknamed The Armadillo.  The cops park it in high crime areas and it really makes a difference.  Here’s to inventive ideas and American ingenuity!

MORE EVIDENCE OF HOW WONDERFUL THAT BRITISH HEALTHCARE SYSTEM IS:  Pregnant women having to wait seven months to see an obstetrician and then having to have their baby in the street because the ambulance refuses to pick them up.  Boy, I can’t wait until they get that kind of quality in this country!

ONE RING TO RULE THEM ALL:  A guy lost his wedding ring in a harbor in Wellington, New Zealand and then was able to find it.  Frodo was unavailable for comment, but Gollum was very upset by the discovery.

TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHO YOU ARE:  Authorities found a disoriented man wandering around Seattle who had no idea who he was and spent weeks trying to figure it out.  The mystery may finally be solved, but this guy still will have to take some time to truly remember who he is.  Sad.

IT’S OKAY TO GET COMFORTABLE WHEN FLYING, BUT NOT THAT COMFORTABLE:  A couple got in a fight on a Southwest flight and one of them decided that was a good reason to get naked.  Something tells me there are more than just marital problems there.

FIVE PREDICTED RESULTS OF GAY MARRIAGE LEGALIZATION:  Maggie Gallagher makes five predictions of things that will happen in states where same sex marriage becomes legal.  It’s a safe bet that greater expansion of religious freedom isn’t one of them.
