Some New Zealanders rigged up their van and drove it across the open sea. Pretty cool.

No respect for the dead
September 16th, 2009, Comments Off
Andrew Breitbart lets us know that empathizing for a family’s loss doesn’t mean you can forget the truth when it comes to the lives lived by Teddy Kennedy and Michael Jackson. Death does not bestow sainthood nor does it cause amnesia. It doesn’t rewrite history and it doesn’t atone for wrongs. It is simply the [...]
How to raise a stripper

There are two brand new products out there for little girls: shirts with nipple tassels and pole dance dolls. What proud parent wouldn’t just beam with joy as their daughter opened those presents on Christmas day with all the family gathered round? It used to be that you just had to keep your kids away [...]
Older cars are stolen more often
September 9th, 2009, Comments Off
The most noticeable thing on the list of most stolen cars for 2008 is that only three of the vehicles were newer than 1999 and 2004 is most recent model year. Spray it on yourself and you will be calm and relaxed while everyone else wonders if you’ve been [...]

A couple of car makers have approached Bob Dylan to be the voice of their GPS system. Apparently, they’ve never listened to Bob Dylan speak. After trying to listen to Dylan give them directions, drivers will doubtless be reminded of an old Dylan line, “How does it feel to be on your own, a complete [...]
Weird Hotels
August 31st, 2009, Comments Off
Some of the weirdest hotels in the world, including rooms with lion cages in them (no lions, though), rooms make out of giant wine barrels, a hotel made out of an old Boeing 727, and many more that words can’t even describe. More proof that man’s imagination knows no bounds.
No flying cars, but the future is getting closer

Soon, there will be video advertisements in magazines. They are called video in print ads, using chips that can hold up to 40 minutes of video and are shown on a screen about the size of a cell phone display. The technology is similar to that found in singing greeting cards, but will include pictures [...]
Bigfoot told me it was true

Some guy is claiming he has spotted the Loch Ness monster using Google Earth. Personally, I think he spotted a boat. Check it out and decide for yourself.
No bun, no problem
August 28th, 2009, Comments Off
KFC’s new “Double Down” sandwich has no bun…just bacon, cheese, and ‘Colonel’s Sauce’ sandwiched between two chicken breasts. Without a bun, though, however will we soak up all the grease? And can you get a side order of defibrillation with it?
