Hatin’ the South

George Voinovich (R-OH) thinks that southerners are the problem with the GOP. His examples are Jim Demint and Tom Coburn. Tom Coburn is from Oklahoma. Even if you buy his premise, since when does anyone consider Oklahoma part of the south? Take away Cleveland, and Ohio isn’t all that different from Oklahoma. Also, Voinovich is the Senator who started crying during a debate about who should be the ambassador to the United Nations. Maybe the problem with the GOP is there are too many prejudiced whiners, George.
